With the University of Alberta being one of 4 places in Canada that performs lung transplants, places to support patients and families awaiting and recovering from transplants is needed.  This new facility will accommodate 30 patients in a home like setting with lounging areas, library and wellness rooms.  Funding is underway to raise the $20mil required to build the facility.
