As a founder and lead Electrical Engineer at Concept Engineering, I bring over 20 years of engineering and field related experience to the table.  . My extensive project experience drives innovation and creativity, helping Concept tackle challenges with effective solutions.

I'm also a dad, husband, rec hockey player, world traveller, and outdoor enthusiast (ask me about my lawn!). I value personal connections with our clients, believing that close collaboration leads to more functional solutions for the future.

A co-founder and Principal of Concept Engineering with more than 35 years of experience in the electrical consulting building services sector.   I have proven capabilities in managing projects of various sizes and able to maintain overall accountability for the safe, timely and economical completion of projects.  

In my spare time I enjoy family time, travel,  and cheering on the Oilers/Seahawks.  I  play almost any sport when I can.  I am committed to maintaining high standards in collaboration with utilities, developers, municipalities, owners, and our Concept team.

In 2012, I joined Concept to establish and lead the mechanical division, transforming the company into a comprehensive electrical and mechanical consulting firm. With 30 years of experience in HVAC/Plumbing design and project management.

Outside of the office I golf...a lot (often 27 holes before 9am), play hockey, dominate in office fantasy pools and spend time with my family and friends.

As an electrical designer at Concept Engineering and the longest tenured employee I bring over 12 years of experience in electrical consulting and design. I excel at providing solutions through adaptability and dedication to your project from beginning to end.

When out of the office you can find me crate digging at the record shop, experimenting in the kitchen (my chicken parm is a crowd favorite) or on the golf course trying to keep it in bounds. Above all, I am firm believer that building relationships and leaving a good impression are priorities whether on the clock or not.

Graduating from the Electrical Engineering Technology program at NAIT in 2001, I am a professionally licensed in Electrical Engineering by APEGA.

As a senior electrical designer at Concept, I focus in translating client requirements into effective electrical designs that align with project objectives.

With over 13 years of experience in the industry, I ensure seamless execution, timely delivery, and client satisfaction. My expertise lies in optimizing system efficiency and integrating sustainable solutions in design for comfortable and energy efficient buildings and spaces, while ensuring a client’s needs and requests are met.

Outside of work, I love family time and enjoy camping, travelling, or going to sporting events. This blend of technical proficiency and a commitment to a brighter future defines my approach in career and personal life

Hi there! I have over six years of experience in the field of Mechanical Design coupled with a background in Architectural Technology. I thrive on the satisfaction of creating, whether it's in my design work at Concept, sketching artwork, or DIY hands-on construction projects/mechanic work. I am also quite keen on fitness and almost everything outdoors. As a devoted husband and father of four, I find maintaining balance between professional excellence and nurturing a loving family environment an imperative goal.

With 9 years of design experience and a background in HVAC and Building Environment Systems, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Over the years, I've expanded my skills as a mechanical designer, contributing to a wide variety of projects. I take pride in maintaining a calm demeanor, effectively communicating with clients and project members, and thriving in a collaborative team environment.

I enjoy spending time with family as a proud new dad to a new daughter, listening to music and being outdoors. From snowboarding, skating, or snowmobiling during the winter to spending time on the lake, hiking or riding bikes during the summer. I also enjoy hot and sunny vacations or road trips through Alberta and BC and hope to pass some of this enjoyment on to my growing family.
