April of 2018 marks the ten-year anniversary for Concept Engineering! From small beginnings at a home office in Sherwood Park, Concept Engineering began with Jason Geisler and Gary Griffiths, two former colleagues-turned-friends who were eager to start a new kind of engineering firm. They wanted to offer their clients more sustainable or “green” alternatives for their projects, and hence, Concept Engineering was born.

In the early days, Griffiths and Geisler pulled long hours and, as most entrepreneurs will attest, wore a lot of hats. As Principles of the company they were responsible for client development but also all the behind-the-scenes responsibilities essential for a growing company. And they certainly have grown!

Fast forward ten years, two additional Principle partners Tyler Gayford and Evan McCoy, mechanical and electrical design specialists and several other essential team members and you find the team at Concept totaling nine full-time staff members. With over 100 years of combined experience, they nimbly tackle more projects in Western and Northern Canada than firms twice their size. Proudly offering solutions for Building Systems, Horizontal Electrical Utilities, and Sustainable Design, the team at Concept Engineering moves 120+ projects through to completion each year.

Concept Engineering strives to push your vision into reality through cost efficient and sustainable environmentally-friendly solutions. As a member of the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC LEED?), Concept Engineering commits to a sustainable future through all their projects.

Congratulations Concept Engineering for an amazing ten years in business!
